Angela deFreitas, General Manager of CHOICES Caribbean says, “The webinar will offer a unique opportunity for parents and caregivers to gain practical tools and insights that are essential for helping children navigate these challenging times. By coming together as a community, we can foster resilience, empower our youth to thrive now, whatever their current circumstances and build a successful future.”

The webinar will support stakeholders in understanding and addressing the psychosocial challenges faced post-“Melissa” by providing insights into understanding “what happened, where are we now, and how can life regain stability?”.

The event aims to equip attendees with practical strategies to support both themselves and the children in their care in staying grounded, trusting, and confident. It highlights the importance of resilience, acknowledging that today’s children will be the future leaders who can shape a world that meets the aspirations of coming generations.

It will be an invaluable resource for anyone involved in the care and development of children. Attendees will leave with new information, ideas and practical strategies to maintain stability and focus in these evolving times.
